Questions we get about Phase-0

How is Phase-0 different from an SI's discovery workshop?

An SI's discovery is designed to mobilize a program. Phase-0 is designed to decide whether the program should mobilize at all — and on what terms. We are not the integrator. That independence is the point.

Who runs Phase-0?

How long does Phase-0 take?

Four to six weeks, depending on landscape complexity and stakeholder availability. We do not stretch the timeline to expand the engagement.

What happens if Phase-0 says "don't proceed"?

That is a successful outcome. The output is a defensible position — go, re-scope, or delay — backed by evidence the board will accept. We have no incentive to push you into a program that shouldn't run.

What does Phase-0 cost — and how do we justify it to the CFO?

Phase-0 is a fixed-scope, fixed-duration advisory engagement priced as a fraction of the program it shapes. The most common CFO question after Phase-0 is "why didn't we do this sooner?" — because the scope reductions and risk avoidance it surfaces typically pay for the engagement many times over.

Do you offer this outside SAP?

Phase-0 is SAP-focused by design. If you have adjacent enterprise systems (Boomi, Signavio, Salesforce, ServiceNow) in scope, we cover them where they touch SAP.
